Attribution Search is partnering with a significant Global Macro Hedge Fund launch to appoint its first Head of Fund Control / Finance.

The fund is led by a Founding Principal with an outstanding track record from a Tier-1 multi-pod platform, trading across rates, FX, and cross-asset strategies.

This hire represents a critical leadership position within the business. The appropriate candidate will be working in a fund accounting, fund control, or fund finance position at a hedge fund, looking to step up into a leadership position in an exciting hedge fund launch.

The role will report directly into the COO, and given there is no CFO in seat, this makes for a natural path for progression over time.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Full ownership of NAV review and sign-off, valuation, pricing, and controls.
  • Acting as senior finance lead across administrator and outsourced operations providers.
  • Oversight of Middle Office operations (primarily governance and control-focused) in the absence of Head of Operations.
  • Partnering with technology teams to build automation, controls, and scalable finance infrastructure.
  • Playing a key role in building and leading the finance function as AUM and headcount grow.

Hedge Fund experience is a prerequisite.

Appropriate candidates are encouraged to apply for further details.
