Established Global Macro Hedge Fund is looking to attract a Fund Accounting Manager following internal mobility and recent growth. Highly reputable in the RV/Fixed Income space with YoY performance, the fund offers stability, an engaging culture and long term development for progression. Tenure at the fund is above market benchmarks, with the Head of Fund Accounting and C-Level staff having been with the fund since launch.
Responsibilities:
- Leading all period reporting both on fund finance and management accounting.
- Varied role blending product control, valuations, fund accounting and supporting month end management accounting.
- NAV calculations and reporting.
- Reconciling NAV with administrator and final NAV sign off.
- Daily P&L and explain.
- Front end Portfolio Manager engagement – daily face off to investment team on positions, swings and position amendments.
- Attribution analysis and monthly estimates.
- Valuations/IPV.
- FX hedging and portfolio balancing.
- Audit and financial statements.
- Leading small team in support of Head of Fund Accounting.
- Daily BAU, strategy and project management.
Qualifications:
- Hedge Fund, Asset Management or Fund Services experience.
- Senior Fund Accounting looking for step up into Leadership.
- Product Control and/or Valuations background.
- Cross product background.
