We are supporting a London based Asset Manager who is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to support their data and investment platforms, ensuring smooth daily operations and the delivery of high-quality data across core asset classes like equities and bonds. In this role, you will troubleshoot data issues, analyse root causes, and maintain clear, consistent communication with business stakeholders. You will be a key player in ensuring that critical front-to-back investment systems run smoothly and efficiently.
Daily duties involve:
- Managing, analysing, and maintaining core investment data used across the business
- Supporting trade processing workflows, identifying and resolving exceptions, and ensuring timely issue resolution
- Ensuring accurate position and transaction data is available to front-office tools and decision-makers
- Collaborating with internal teams across Investments, Operations, Compliance, and IT
- Engaging with external vendors to monitor data service levels and manage incidents
- Contributing to projects and enhancements—writing specifications, supporting UAT, and ensuring robust solutions are delivered
The ideal candidate should have:
- Around 3 years’ experience in investment data support, operations, or technology within asset management or a related field
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with market data management or warehouse tools (e.g., Markit EDM, RIMES Matrix)
- Familiarity with Order Management Systems (e.g., Bloomberg AIM, Charles River, ThinkFolio, Aladdin)
- Exposure to portfolio accounting and valuation platforms (e.g., Linedata, Simcorp, Tradar)
