Attribution Search is partnered with a multi-billion-dollar hedge fund seeking a Senior Equities Trade Operations professional to support a globally recognised Equities Portfolio Manager (PM) who has recently joined the firm in its London office. The fund is a substantial launch and this role represents an expansion within an already highly successful platform as the firm continues to scale and diversify its trading strategies. This will be the first Equity Operations hire for the fund and be the main port of call for the Equity PM post execution. You will act as the sole operations contact for the PM, providing end-to-end operational support across the equity trading lifecycle. Over time, the plan is to scale this strategy where the incumbent can look to lead the division as a Head of Equity Operations.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- T0 / T+1 trade support
- Trade booking, P&L, and position monitoring
- Core T+1 operations including confirmations, settlements, and reconciliations
- Corporate actions processing
- Vendor management and oversight
- Resolving trade discrepancies and position-related queries
- Trade reporting and analysis
- Participation in automation and development projects (SQL / Python)
Experience required:
- Degree-level education
- 5+ years’ experience in Equities Operations within a hedge fund environment
- Strong exposure to MarkitWire, ICE, and Bloomberg
- Working knowledge of SQL and/or Python
