Attribution Search is partnered with a leading global hedge fund seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Reporting Professional to strengthen its control framework and partner closely with Compliance. This role is central to safeguarding data integrity and ensuring timely, accurate reporting under EMIR and MAS regulations.
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide daily oversight of trade reporting, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and adherence to regulatory timelines.
- Monitor data flows to trade repositories, identify anomalies, and resolve rejected or missing records.
- Conduct reconciliations between internal systems and external repositories, investigating breaks and driving remediation.
- Liaise with Operations, Technology teams, vendors, and counterparties to resolve data quality issues and reporting exceptions.
- Deliver structured management information (MI) highlighting trends, risks, and outstanding actions for senior stakeholders.
- Support regulatory change initiatives, system enhancements, and UAT to maintain robust reporting controls.
- Contribute to process improvements and control enhancements impacting data quality and compliance assurance.
Candidate Profile:
- Degree-level education.
- Strong knowledge of EMIR and transaction reporting obligations.
- Familiarity with trade repositories (DTCC, UnaVista, Regis) and front-to-back trade lifecycle processes.
- Previous buy-side experience and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.
