A world-renowned, multi-billion AUM macro hedge fund is currently searching for a highly driven Trading Assistant to join its London office. The fund operates a number of trading strategies covering a wide range of asset classes including Equity, Fixed Income/Macro Rates, Credit and Commodities. The role offers frequent interaction with the desk and with company wide exposure from day one.

Daily duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting Multi Pod trading teams across global macro; Equity, Commodities and complex credit.
  • Trade booking and allocation.
  • Monitoring and analysing live trading positions and P&L.
  • Daily trade reporting.
  • Market commentary.

To be successful, candidates must have a minimum of three years’ experience in Middle Office/Operations, gained within a buy side business or tier-one investment bank. Applicants are required to have obtained a minimum of a 2.1 classification in a STEM based University degree. The fund will look at candidates from a broad product background given their coverage, but candidates with Fixed Income product knowledge are highly desired. Given the selective nature of the hedge fund, only candidates with relevant experience can be considered.
