A leading global alternative investment manager is seeking an experienced Middle Office professional to join its Operations team on an initial contract basis. The role provides critical investment operations support across a range of Funds, Separately Managed Accounts, and portfolio companies. This position offers broad exposure across asset classes and involves end-to-end operational oversight, liquidity management, and close collaboration with front office, finance, and external service providers. The environment is fast-paced and dynamic, suited to a candidate who can manage multiple priorities simultaneously and thrive in a collaborative, entrepreneurial setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily oversight of core operational functions including Trade Support, Collateral Management, Asset Servicing, and Reconciliations
- Preparation and delivery of daily cash and liquidity reporting to front office teams; support funding of daily business activity
- Coordination with fund accounting teams, administrators, and pricing providers to prepare and validate NAV and P&L
- Monitoring FX balances and trading requirements, including preparation of hedging recommendations
- Oversight of private deal pipelines to ensure operational readiness and timely funding at closing (e.g. revolvers, delayed draws, privately originated loans)
- Counterparty relationship management
- Ad-hoc and management reporting
- Project management and contribution to target operating model enhancements
- General business enablement and operational support
- Monthly sign-off of cash, position, and income reconciliations, with follow-up to internal finance teams and external administrators to meet month-end deadlines
Qualifications & Experience
- Undergraduate degree with 5–10 years of relevant middle office or operations experience
- Strong fund knowledge, including NAV and P&L
- Broad product exposure, including: Loans (syndicated and private, all structures), Real estate (commercial and residential), Cash fixed income, Credit and rates derivatives, FX and FX derivatives, Equities and options (listed and OTC)
- Candidates must have a strong understanding of Private Credit and the NAV lifecycle.
