We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Administrator to join a fast-paced financial services environment on a 15-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented AP professional to work closely with accounting, trading, and operational teams within a dynamic global business.
Responsibilities include:
- Verify and match invoices against purchase orders.
- Process non-PO invoices and ensure accurate coding and approval workflows.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve billing discrepancies and outstanding queries.
- Process employee expenses and corporate credit card transactions.
- Prepare and process wire transfer payments.
- Create and maintain supplier records within the accounting system.
- Organise and maintain electronic filing systems.
- Perform complex allocations and prepare monthly journal entries, accruals, and reclassification entries.
- Produce ad hoc reports and support month-end activities.
- Provide guidance and support on expense-related queries.
- Assist with additional Accounts Payable duties as required.
To be considered you will need:
- Degree educated and/or AAT qualified.
- Minimum 5 years' Accounts Payable experience.
- Previous experience within Financial Services, Banking, Asset Management, Hedge Fund, or Proprietary Trading environments is essential.
- Strong experience working across multiple entities, jurisdictions, and currencies.
- Proven ability to manage complex allocations, accruals, and journal entries.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
