Overview
We are a founder-led insurance brokerage at an exciting stage of growth and are seeking an Account Executive to build a new portfolio of SME and mid-market commercial insurance clients. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role is focused on relationship-led new business development and long-term client ownership. Starting with no existing client book, the successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business, building trusted client relationships, and contributing to the continued growth and culture of the business.
Key Responsibilities New Business & Book Building
- Build and develop a personal portfolio of SME and mid-market commercial insurance clients from inception
- Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, introducer relationships, and proactive prospecting
- Work closely with the Managing Director to align new business activity with the brokerages growth strategy
- Represent the business professionally at client meetings, networking events, and industry forums
Client Advisory & Relationship Management
Take a consultative approach to understanding prospective clients businesses, risks, and insurance requirements
