About the Role
We are seeking a skilled CompEx Electrical Technician to join our technical services team. This role involves working with EX-rated equipment in hazardous areas (Zones 0, 1, and 2), both in the workshop and on client sites across the UK.
Key Responsibilities

Inspect, test, and maintain electrical systems in hazardous environments

Install and commission ATEX-compliant electrical equipment

Complete inspection reports and certification documentation

Support mobilisation of rental equipment for hazardous area use

Ensure compliance with DSEAR, ATEX, and internal safety procedures
Requirements

Valid CompEx certification (Ex01Ex04)

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)

Experience working in hazardous area environments (e.g., oil & gas, petrochemical, industrial)

Strong knowledge of cable glanding, terminations, and ATEX compliance

Full UK driving licence (essential)
