The Academy seeks to appoint a flexible, resilient and highly organised Student Support Administrator to join the Academy’s Student Support Team. This is a key front-facing role within the Academy, acting as the first point of contact for students requiring support and ensuring the smooth and effective day-to-day running of the Student Support area.

Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for students requiring support and assist with a wide range of needs including behaviour, wellbeing and attendance concerns.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and carers, providing a calm, professional and supportive response in challenging situations.
  • Support the Student Support Team to ensure all students are supported to succeed both academically and personally.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to prioritise tasks and maintain a well-organised Student Support area.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Calm under pressure and able to prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills when working with students, staff and parents.
  • Flexible, resilient and hardworking with a natural empathy and caring nature.
  • Proven experience of working with vulnerable and challenging students is advantageous.
