This role would require the successful applicant to work from the office for a minimum of 3 days per week and could be based in any of our regional offices, including Cheltenham, Cardiff, Liverpool, London, Darlington, Fareham or Harrogate.

About The Role

This role provides high‑quality administrative support across a broad range of Corporate Benefits services, with a focus on Workplace Pensions and Health & Benefits. You will act as a key point of contact for clients, scheme members, and providers, managing communications via telephone, email, and written correspondence in a professional and timely manner. The position involves preparing Workplace Pension scheme assessments, supporting the review and re‑broking of group schemes, and assisting with new business activity. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will play an important role in ensuring the accurate, efficient, and compliant delivery of services, helping to maintain strong client relationships and a high standard of customer care. In addition, you will contribute to team projects by supporting their planning, coordination, and delivery, while helping to enhance overall service standards. Acting as a key point of contact for clients using payroll and enrolment services, you will provide a consistently high level of customer service, resolving queries efficiently. With a strong focus on organisation, you will effectively manage your own workload, communications, and priorities to ensure accurate, timely, and professional service delivery within a collaborative team environment.

About You

You are a highly organised and proactive professional with experience in the Employee Benefits sector, particularly in Workplace Pensions and Automatic Enrolment within a regulated environment. You bring hands‑on knowledge of pension scheme administration, including assessments, contribution processing, and working closely with providers, alongside a broader understanding of employee benefits such as group risk protection and healthcare. Ideally, you hold R01 and R04, and you may be progressing toward or interested in completing a Diploma in Financial Planning. You are confident in managing multiple priorities, taking ownership of your workload, and ensuring that all systems, documentation, and processes are accurate and up to date. Your attention to detail enables you to handle commission and client fee processing with precision and consistently meet key deadlines. You are comfortable supporting new business implementation, preparing meeting packs, coordinating diaries, and attending client or provider meetings when required. A strong communicator, you build effective relationships with clients, providers, and colleagues, ensuring all requests are handled promptly and professionally. You take pride in delivering a high standard of service, are quick to identify and escalate issues where appropriate, and contribute positively to team objectives. Experience with platforms such as IO and a solid understanding of wider employee benefits will be advantageous, as will your willingness to support general office duties and play an active role in the smooth running of the wider Corporate Benefits team.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Supporting the Senior Corporate Benefits Support function, wider Corporate Benefits team and business operations.
  • Provide proactive Workplace Pensions and Automatic Enrolment administration support to Consultants and the wider team, including efficient diary management, meeting coordination, and the accurate and timely updating of all relevant platforms and systems used to support client work.
  • Support the set‑up of new business arrangements, including Workplace Pensions, Group Risk Protection, and Group Healthcare.
  • Manage commission and client fee processing with accuracy and attention to deadlines.
  • Book appointments and prepare the meeting pack for Consultants and the Head of Corporate.
  • Maintain corporate documentation, ensuring all records are stored securely and are accessible to authorised colleagues as needed.
  • Supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of team projects, contributing ideas, managing timelines, and collaborating with colleagues to meet project milestones and improve service delivery.
  • Facilitate a consistently high standard of customer service when supporting clients using our payroll and enrolment services, acting as a key point of contact, resolving queries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Build and maintain strong communication channels with clients, ensuring prompt and accurate processing of requests.
  • Attend client and provider meetings, as required, at either Attivo offices or external locations.

Essential Skills And Experience

  • Experience working within the Employee Benefits sector, with a good understanding of Workplace Pensions and Automatic Enrolment administrative processes in a regulated environment.
  • Experience with Workplace Pension schemes, including scheme assessments, contribution processing, and liaising with pension providers.
  • Experience with employee benefits administration.
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades A-B (or grade 6 and above), including Maths and English.
  • Good organisational, time management skills and effective caseload management.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, sometimes for long periods of time.
  • Professional, ethical, and discreet.

Desirable Skills And Experience

  • Achieved CII R01 and R04, with the desire to continue with professional qualifications.
  • CII Diploma in either Financial Planning or Regulated Financial Planning.
  • In‑depth knowledge of Group Risk, Group Healthcare and other employee benefits.
  • Experience using systems, such as IO.

Salary and benefits

Up to £40,000, depending on qualifications and experience. If you live within the M25, you will also receive London Living Allowance.
