About The Role
This newly created Executive Assistant role plays a critical part in supporting the effective delivery of risk, compliance, and operational activities across the business. The EA will act as a trusted partner to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and Operations Director (OD), providing high-level executive support while also assisting the wider team as required to ensure internal and external reporting obligations are met. The role is primarily responsible for managing complex diaries and schedules, coordinating meetings and travel, and acting as the first point of contact for all communications.
About You
You are an experienced and highly organised Executive Assistant with a proven track record of supporting senior leaders in fast-paced, owner-led environments. You bring strong diary, inbox, and meeting management skills, with the ability to anticipate needs, manage complex logistics, and ensure executives are fully prepared for every engagement. Comfortable acting as a gatekeeper, you handle communications with confidence and professionalism, maintaining discretion at all times when dealing with sensitive information. You are adept at coordinating meetings, producing accurate minutes, managing documentation and CRM systems, and supporting both day-to-day operations and larger business events. With excellent written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail, and proficiency across Microsoft Office and Office 365 applications, you are able to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Experience supporting C-suite executives is essential, and exposure to financial services or compliance environments would be a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Provide high-level executive and administrative support to the Chief Risk Officer and Operations Director, with additional support to the wider executive team as required.
- Manage complex professional and personal diaries, including meetings, appointments, travel, accommodation, and logistics, exercising sound judgement and discretion.
- Coordinate calendars, invitations, and meeting arrangements, ensuring priorities are met and executives are fully prepared with all necessary materials.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the CRO and OD, managing calls, emails, post, and visitors, and screening communications effectively.
- Attend internal, external, Board, and management meetings, taking accurate minutes, circulating actions, and tracking follow-ups.
- Organise and support on-site and off-site meetings and events, including venues, catering, accommodation, and transport.
- Manage correspondence, documentation, CRM updates, and records, ensuring information is accurate, well-organised, and accessible.
- Provide a professional and welcoming service to visitors and maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
Essential Skills And Experience:
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience as a PA/EA reporting directly to senior management.
- Experience supporting C-Suite executives in an owner-led business.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work with high accuracy while coordinating multiple projects concurrently.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Office 365 applications.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to write well-articulated documents.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive issues professionally.
Desirable Skills And Experience:
- Educated to degree level would be an advantage.
- Experience of working within financial services, in particular, experience within a Compliance function.
Salary and Benefits:
Circa Β£30,000 depending on experience.
