About The Role
As a Client Services Administrator within our Financial Adviser Academy, you’ll gain hands‑on experience in a growing independent financial planning business while studying towards the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, fully funded and supported by Attivo.
This is an excellent opportunity to build a long‑term career in financial services, with a clear pathway into roles such as a Paraplanner or Financial Planner.
In this role, you will play a key part in building and maintaining strong relationships with Financial Planners and both existing and prospective clients.
As one of the first points of contact for our clients, you’ll deliver exceptional service, ensuring enquiries are handled efficiently and professionally.
You’ll support the coordination of client review meetings, manage key administrative processes, and gain exposure to all aspects of financial planning while developing the skills, experience and qualifications needed for a successful career in the profession.
This is a 12‑month fixed‑term opportunity that will equip you with valuable industry experience, professional qualifications and the skills needed to pursue future career opportunities within financial planning.

This opportunity is available across our Cheltenham, London, Reading, Liverpool, Cardiff and Fareham offices.
To support your development through our Academy programme, you’ll spend a minimum of three days per week in your local office, giving you plenty of opportunities to learn from experienced colleagues and build your professional network.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Ensuring that all enquiries are handled in an efficient and timely manner, delivering exceptional levels of customer service to all clients.
- Adherence to the requirements laid out by the FCA in terms of compliance, customer risk, and Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles.
- Ensuring that all client interactions are documented accurately on Intelligent Office (i O) and adhere to GDPR.
- Work closely with other team members and Financial Planners to provide the best service to all new and existing clients.
- Ensuring that all client activities are accurately recorded and updated on the system.
- Proactively maintain an up‑to‑date knowledge of the Company processes and service offerings.
- Preparing and coordinating pre‑meeting information and client documentation.
- Supporting meeting bookings, client correspondence and administration activities throughout the client lifecycle.
Essential Skills And Experience
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs graded A-B (6), or equivalent, including Maths and English.
- Interested in studying Financial Planning qualifications.
- Must have the aspiration to become a Financial Planner or Paraplanner.
- Excellent interpersonal, listening, numerical and IT skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organisational, time management, and caseload management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook (Office 365).
- Able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Desirable Skills And Experience
- 2:1 or above in a relevant degree in a subject such as Economics, Law, Finance, Maths, Banking and Finance.
- Working towards Financial Planning qualifications.
- Experience working in Financial Services.
