About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Investment Associate to join our team. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in investment management, supporting the creation and maintenance of investment materials, coordinating data inputs, and ensuring the delivery of accurate and compliant client communications.

The successful candidate will be based at our London or Cheltenham office approximately 3 days per week, with some flexibility and occasional travel between sites.

About You

You’re curious about how financial markets work and motivated to build a career in investment management. You take pride in your attention to detail and enjoy producing high-quality, well-presented work. You’re organised, methodical, and thrive on meeting deadlines, especially when juggling multiple tasks.

You’re confident using Excel and PowerPoint, and you’re open to learning new systems and tools. You communicate clearly and enjoy collaborating with others, whether you’re coordinating with the investment team, working alongside marketing, or supporting the wider business.

You may already have some experience in investment research or financial analysis, or you might be looking for your first step into the sector. Either way, you\’re eager to learn, keen to contribute, and ready to take ownership of your work.

Key responsibilities include:

• Update and manage investment documents with current data and commentary.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure accuracy and consistency in client-facing materials.
• Collect and analyse performance, fund, and portfolio data.
• Assist in preparing investment reports and maintaining research logs.
• Liaise with investment, proposition, and marketing teams and agencies to ensure accuracy and version control of all client-facing materials.
• Maintain marketing registers and track document usage across planning firms.
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly investment reporting and performance summaries.
• Maintain logs for fund research, model portfolio updates, and CRM entries for investment communications.
• Provide administrative support to the wider team across investment operations, compliance documentation, and file organisation.

Essential skills and experience:

• A strong interest in investment management and financial markets.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• A degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in investment research or financial analysis is a plus.

Desirable:

• Experience with InDesign or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Familiarity with investment platforms, fund factsheets, or model portfolios.
• Studying towards IMC, CFA, or similar (optional at this stage).
• Experience working within financial services or wealth management.

Salary and benefits

£25,000 to £35,000 depending qualifications and experience. Attivo Investments also offers aLondon Living Allowance for employees within the M25.
