About the Role
Do you thrive on bringing pace, structure and momentum to a growing investment business? Attivo Investments is looking for an ambitious Investment Operations & Executive Business Partner to work closely with our Chief Investment Officer and Executive Team, helping turn ideas, priorities and strategic decisions into action. This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety, moves quickly and wants to be close to the decisions that shape the business. It includes core EA responsibilities such as diary management, meeting coordination and executive administration, but the real value is in being proactive: making sure the CIO is fully prepared, priorities are clear and her time is focused on strategic, value-add activity. Office attendance: 2–3 days per week, with monthly travel to Cheltenham.
About You
Investment management experience is essential. You will need to understand the moving parts, language and priorities of the business so you can join the dots quickly and help the CIO stay focused on strategic, value-add work. The right person will be dynamic, curious and confident working with senior stakeholders. You will be excited by technology, open to using AI and digital tools to improve ways of working, and motivated by the chance to drive efficiency, strengthen operating discipline and help a growing business scale successfully.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-quality executive and operational support to the Chief Investment Officer and Executive Team, including proactive diary management, meeting preparation, briefing papers, travel arrangements, administration and follow-up activity.
- Ensuring the CIO is fully prepared for meetings, with the right context, papers actions and priorities clearly organised in advance.
- Coordinating governance meetings, committees, leadership forums and strategic reviews, ensuring agendas, meeting packs, minutes, action logs and supporting documentation are well managed.
- Maintaining the executive operating rhythm, including weekly executive meetings, leadership one-to-ones, quarterly reviews, business planning sessions and governance calendars.
- Tracking strategic initiatives, milestones, dependencies and risks, helping to ensure key priorities move forward at pace.
- Supporting the day-to-day operational running of Attivo Investments by maintaining trackers, records, project plans, reporting inputs and process documentation.
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, streamline administration and use technology or AI-enabled tools to make processes smarter and more effective.
- Acting as a central coordination point between the Executive Team, Investment Team, Compliance, Finance, Operations, external suppliers, platform providers and strategic partners.
Essential skills and experience:
- Essential investment management industry experience, with the ability to understand business context quickly and connect activity across teams.
- Experience in an Executive Assistant, Operations, PMO, Business Coordinator or similar role supporting senior leaders.
- A proactive, ambitious and commercially aware mindset, with the confidence to take ownership and follow through.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including the ability to challenge, influence and keep activity moving.
- Strong technology skills, including advanced Microsoft Office capability, and a genuine interest in using AI, automation and digital tools to improve efficiency.
- High attention to detail and a structured approach to administration, documentation, governance and action tracking.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the discretion and professionalism needed when handling confidential information.
- A dynamic, adaptable approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up style culture where priorities can shift quickly.
Salary and benefits
