About the role:
As a Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing client relationships. You will ensure that you are engaging, building, and maintaining relationships with prospective and existing clients, enhancing the visibility of Attivo’s comprehensive range of products and services.
You will work closely with our Financial Planners and act as the main contact for integrating new clients, onboarding clients, and ensuring enquiries and requests are managed efficiently. You will ensure clients have an excellent experience throughout their client journey, ensuring every client feels like our only client.
The role is hybrid-based and will involve some travel to other Attivo office locations and events, to support the Financial Planners and clients.
About you:
You are a proactive individual with experience managing and developing client relationships within the financial services sector or wealth management. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills allow you to nurture client relationships. Your commitment to providing exceptional service supports building relationships with clients, ensuring all clients receive the high standard of service expected.
You are diligent in documenting all client interactions accurately and maintaining adherence to GDPR regulations. You take ownership of the client engagement cycle, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for every client. Your role is integral to upholding the high standards of service and client satisfaction. You are working towards your CII Level 4 Diploma or have a keen interest in completing the Diploma.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Support advice queries generated for the business, including direct enquiries, employee referrals, Introducer referrals, and referrals from marketing campaigns.
- Support with the integration of acquired clients, delivering excellent service at all times and able to articulate confidently the Attivo service.
- Build existing and prospective client relationships.
- Coordinate relationships between clients and Financial Planners, with careful consideration of various factors.
- Support with the departed client process, including client retention.
- Arrange and attend client networking events to help develop the organic growth of our client bank.
- Manage a pipeline of clients, ensuring actions are followed up and outcomes are recorded accurately.
- Support the Client Engagement Manager with ad-hoc tasks.
- Work closely with team members and the Financial Planning team.
- Raise awareness of Attivo’s products and services.
- Manage queries in an efficient and timely manner.
- Deliver excellent service at all times.
Essential skills and experience:
- Experience building client relationships.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the financial planning or wealth management sector.
- Excellent interpersonal, listening, numerical, and IT skills.
- Ability to work on your own initiative and independently.
- Professional, ethical, and discreet.
- Ability to develop and maintain ongoing client relationships.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail.
- Full driving licence.
- Minimum 5 GCSEs graded A-B (6), or equivalent, including Maths and English.
Desirable skills and experience:
- Educated to degree level, preferably in Economics, Maths, Accountancy and Finance, or Business Management.
- Experience working within a sales environment.
- Relevant qualifications in the financial planning sector, or a keen interest in completing the CII Level 4 Diploma.
