About the role:

Experience or qualifications in equity release are desirable but not essential.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Stay up to date with changes in regulation and new product offerings.
  • Escalate breaches or concerns to the Regional Director or Compliance Manager as required.
  • Respond appropriately to any Financial Ombudsman enquiries.
  • Maintain accurate CPD records and undertake study and research to expand knowledge.
  • Study towards relevant professional qualifications as appropriate.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Hold the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP) or CII Certificate in Mortgage Advice.
  • Hold a protection qualification and be authorised to advise on protection products.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role, including advising on mortgage and protection needs.
