Attio is on a mission to redefine CRM for the AI era. We’re building the first AI‑native CRM designed for ambitious go‑to‑market teams. Our team thrives on solving complex technical challenges, delighting our users, and setting a new industry standard.

About The Role

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Platform Product Engineers to join our Security, Infrastructure and Performance team. This dual‑faced role combines high‑level engineering strategy with hands‑on operational excellence. You will build, operate, and continuously enhance our internal technology platform, treating it as a product with all development teams as its primary customers. Key focus areas are DevOps principles and a rigorous Site Reliability Engineering mindset. You will define and uphold SLOs/SLIs, implement monitoring and alerting, and lead incident response processes.

What You’ll Do

  • Platform Infrastructure – Build and maintain platform infrastructure using declarative IaC tools (Terraform, Pulumi). Ensure all environments are reproducible, version‑controlled, and auditable. Proactively manage capacity to meet or exceed Service Level Objectives for latency, error rates, and availability.
  • Incident Response and Post‑Mortems – Act as first‑line responder for critical incidents. Triage, diagnose, and resolve complex production issues rapidly. Drive blameless post‑mortems and implement long‑term preventative measures as code.
  • Tooling & Automation – Own the stack of supporting tools for operational excellence and developer enablement.
  • CI/CD Pipelines – Implement, maintain, and evolve fully automated pipelines. Establish best practices for fast, reliable, and secure build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Observability – Implement and manage robust systems for metrics, logging (centralised log aggregation), and distributed tracing to provide deep insights into application and infrastructure health.

What You’ll Bring

  • Applied DevOps and SRE Principles: Hands‑on experience managing, monitoring, and scaling production systems. Deep understanding of SLO/SLA creation, error budget management, toil reduction, and blameless post‑mortems.
  • Desirable: Proven ability to drive cultural and process change fostering collaboration between development and operations teams.
  • Cloud Infrastructure and Containerisation Expertise: Expertise in major public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure) covering network configuration, security best practices, compute services, and managed services. In‑depth knowledge of Docker and extensive experience orchestrating Kubernetes clusters at scale, including networking, storage, and security configurations.
  • Automation and Programming Skills: Proficiency in modern software languages (Typescript, Go, Python, Rust) and associated frameworks for building high‑performance, resilient production systems. Experience developing robust, maintainable automation scripts, services, and pipelines for infrastructure, deployments, and operational tasks.
  • Operational Tooling and Observability Management: Experience owning, managing, and maintaining mission‑critical operational tooling. Desirable: Background in implementing and managing centralised logging solutions (e.g., Splunk, DataDog). Desirable: Familiarity with distributed tracing tools (e.g., Jaeger, Zipkin) and Application Performance Monitoring solutions.

Compensation

Competitive salary of £80,000 to £95,000. Equity in an early‑stage tech company on an incredible trajectory.

What We Offer

  • 25 days holiday plus local public holidays
  • Apple hardware
  • Private medical insurance through AXA
  • Pension contribution through Hargreaves Lansdown
  • Enhanced family leave
  • Team off‑site in fun places (Barcelona, Lisbon, Malta, Split)
  • Competitive salary of ÂŁ80K - ÂŁ95K
