About the role

We’re looking a Staff Engineer (Security, Infrastructure, and Performance) who thrives on complexity, builds for scale, and wants to help reinvent how millions of people work.
What you\’ll do
Architect and build scalable, cloud-native distributed systems on Google Cloud Platform
Lead the development of Infrastructure as Code automation to shape evolution of Attio infrastructure
Drive system-wide improvements in scalability, reliability, security, and performance
What you\’ll bring
Extensive experience designing and building scalable backend and distributed systems
Deep expertise in cloud-native architecture on Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes
Strong software engineering skills with Infrastructure as Code tools like Pulumi
Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js at scale is preferred (experience with Go, Rust, or Python is also fine!)
Ability to influence technical direction and mentor engineers across teams
Bonus: experience with globally distributed databases such as Google Spanner or CockroachDB
