We're looking for an experienced Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in the day‑to‑day running of the store. You'll play a key role in driving sales, leading the team, and ensuring customers receive a consistently high standard of service. You'll also step up as the senior point of contact when the Store Manager is absent.
Key responsibilities:- Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, occupancy goals and other KPIs
- Coach and develop the team to deliver excellent customer service
- Recruit, train, schedule and supervise sales associates
- Monitor store performance and implement improvement plans where needed
- Ensure the store is run safely, compliantly and in line with company procedures
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers
- Previous experience at Assistant Store Manager level, or equivalent experience in sales or customer service with a big advantage given to industry experience
- Telesales experience is desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self‑motivated with the ability to take ownership
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Must live within a 30‑minute commute of the store
- Base salary up to £35k, with OTE of £42k
