Job information Deputy Head Gardener from the Company Attic Pictures Ltd, located in Wincanton, United Kingdom. This job opening is open to job seekers who have a GCSE education.
Job Responsibility:
A rare opportunity for a knowledgeable and energetic horticulturalist to work with the owner on a well-established 16-acre garden in a large estate in Somerset near Bruton.
The owner works hands-on with a small team, employing subcontractors for topiary and tree work.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture, a keen eye for detail, and good experience in all forms of horticulture, including maintaining borders, propagation, shrub pruning, and rose pruning.
The garden has been featured in several books and magazines and on Gardeners\’ World.
You will work to maintain the existing structures and be involved in new projects to renovate or restore other areas of the garden. The owner is always keen to learn and innovate.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces are essential.
