SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
- To provide dynamic and pro-active support and guidance to the Attewell Managing Director in respect of the key strategic growth priorities for the Attewell business.
- To own all aspects of budgeting and forecasting data, displaying mastery and knowledge of all inputs and drivers on not only the P&L level, but working capital (especially inventory valuation and movements) and cash flow and the actions to influence beneficial outcomes hereto.
- To provide guidance, technical advice and operational financial support on matters related to internal and external reporting, compliance, and financial control generally, to the senior members of the Attewell management team.
- To provide guidance and advice on matters related to IT and HR, to the senior members of the Attewell management team.
- To own and drive improvements to system utilisation and related business processes for Finance, HR and IT.
- To oversee all of Attewell’s compliance processes (e.g. ensure that Attewell complies with Export Control requirements).
- To train, motivate, manage, and retain the Finance team to deliver day-to-day transaction processing and accounting control within Attewell Limited.
- To train, motivate, manage, and retain the IT & HR team to deliver day-to-day transactional support within Attewell Limited.
JOB PURPOSE:
To demonstrate the commercial focus and drive to succeed in a fast-moving p/e backed business with the gravitas to gain the confidence of the business, Group board and investors. To take a positive, "can do" and proactive, commercially minded responsibility for the financial stewardship of the business, and pro-actively support the strategic initiatives and business development goals to drive profit improvement. To be a positive and pro-active business partner to the Attewell MD, helping to drive the key strategic priorities of the Attewell business. To work with the Group function and wider international group businesses in a collaborative manner with a "win-win" mindset, including, as required, ad hoc analysis requirements and projects. To ensure the Attewell Limited fully complies with all Group and entity specific reporting, compliance, and control obligations.
This will include responsibility for:
- the production of accurate and timely financial data and reports
- the maintenance of accurate accounting and corporate records
- the development and utilisation of systems (especially SAP ERP system) and key business processes
- the maintenance of robust, reliable, and value-added financial forecasting and reporting processes
- the maintenance of effective internal controls
- ensuring compliance with all legal and corporate secretarial obligations including statutory and other filings
- ensuring adherence to all Group reporting and compliance requirements
- ensuring the financial integrity of the SAP finance system
- being Attewell’s appointed Empowered Official for the purposes of the International Trafficking in Arms Regulations
- proactively ensuring all relevant personal compliance training is completed and being an advocate for compliance training in the Attewell business
- to perform other such duties related to financial management, business development and financial stewardship of Attewell Limited which generally correspond to the nature of the position and its level of responsibility
- to work in a collaborative manner with the Group CFO, Group finance and Group Compliance functions on key business development and compliance requirements and ad hoc projects

- Able to master new reporting and finance systems, specifically including SAP B1 and OneStream.
- Some hands-on experience of payroll functions.
