About Attest
Attest helps businesses connect with real consumers to make confident, data-driven decisions. We’re a curious, collaborative, and data-informed team — and we’re looking for a Finance and Business Analyst who shares that mindset to help us better understand and optimise how our business runs.
The Opportunity
Attest has a number of exciting decisions to make that require insights from our broad range of data sources; financial, commercial, product and people. We’re looking for someone who can bridge the gap between data and decision-making across our business. We need a partner to help us make decisions, through robust analysis and harnessing business intelligence. You will report to our CFO working on strategic analysis projects that inform how we measure success and drive growth — from defining and reporting on company-wide KPIs to uncovering insights that help leaders take action.
The Logistics
We are open to hiring the Lead Finance and Business Analyst on a full-time basis or part-time basis. Please share your preferences below. The salary range for this role is £85,000 to £100,000 pro rata. We embrace a flexible hybrid work model. While we don't mandate specific office days, we ask full-time Attesters to work on-site 2 or 3 days per week. If you were working part-time, then the expectation would be to come into the office once per week. This approach allows us to collaborate in person, while ensuring enough time remotely for deep, focussed work.
What You’ll Do
- Turn complex, ambiguous data into clear, actionable insights that enable leaders to make better decisions.
- Build and maintain spreadsheets and dashboards to track performance and support data-driven planning.
- Forecast outcomes using trends from historical data and scenarios.
- Partner with business teams to design and implement meaningful business KPIs that cut across functions (Commercial, Product, Technology, Finance, and People).
- Partner with Commercial, Product and Finance teams to review our pricing model end-to-end, translating data into clear recommendations to improve profitability and drive customer usage.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure data consistency, context, and clarity in reporting.
- Present findings through compelling visuals and narratives tailored to senior stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring
- You’re comfortable in both finance and commercial worlds. Maybe you started your career in a finance role working on financial plans, and forecasting revenue and/or profit in a growing business.
- You’re naturally curious and proactive; you spot patterns, risks or opportunities early, notice details others might miss, and surface them thoughtfully to help the team make better decisions.
- You understand where strategies drive business success.
- You thrive in business-facing roles, communicating clearly.
- You’re capable of moving things forward and delivering results; the role is not just about sharing insights but driving change.
- Enjoy turning messy or incomplete data into structured actionable insight.
- You’re confident working in Excel/Google Sheets and have used BI tools (e.g. Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI).
- You’re comfortable working independently and produce clear high-quality work within agreed timelines.
- Ideally, you’ve worked in a subscription-based or recurring revenue business (e.g. SaaS, memberships, or similar models), but this isn’t essential.
We want to give everyone the opportunity to showcase their best. Do let us know if you adjust the process to ensure inclusivity – we’re learning too, so we’re happy to accommodate where possible. Unfortunately, we cannot offer visa sponsorship at this time.
