Responsibilities

• Provide general, light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, dusting, laundry, vacuuming, and mopping floors.
• Purchase food and household supplies.
• Make beds and change the bedding.
• Wash dishes and empty trash cans.
• Observe and report any pertinent information directly related to the well-being of the client.
• Complete a minimum of 6 hours of in-service education.
• Adhere to all agency policies.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the client’s personal life.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.
• Must be able to speak and understand English in order to communicate with supervisors and clients.
• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
• Valid driver\’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to act in a supportive and compassionate manner.
