Excellent opportunity for a Programme Commercial Manager to join UK Government's transport department on an initial 6 month contract.
Working with the Programme Director, you will be responsible for the contract strategy for multiple projects and will also develop a procurement strategy for the Programme.
Responsibilities will include:
- Developing a Commercial Strategy for the management and control of the Programme across multiple projects.
- Developing a Procurement Strategy for the Programme.
- Agreeing the appropriate supplier engagement model for each work package in the Programme.
- Managing the deployment of commercial resources within the Programme.
- Lead the management and resolution of legal and/or commercial disputes.
Key experience required:
- Extensive Commercial management experience.
- Experience of resolution of contract disputes and robust post contract management.
- Relevant commercial transport/rail experience.
- Knowledge of commercial contract management and estimating.
Multiple office locations across the UK are available. 3 days per week in the office. Inside IR35.
