Excellent 12 month contract opportunity for a Lead Procurement Manager (SC Cleared) at this UK Government Department. In this engagement, you will take a lead role across all activities within the Department's procurement lifecycle.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing procurement plans
  • Engaging with the market
  • Preparing procurement documentation
  • Negotiating with suppliers
  • Governance activities

To be considered for this opportunity, you will offer:

  • Extensive Commercial and Procurement knowledge with good experience gained within the UK Public Sector
  • Experience of running full IT procurements
  • Experience of drafting contracts
  • Negotiation and Stakeholder management skills
  • Good understanding of Legal requirements

Due to the nature of this assignment, active SC Clearance is an essential requirement to be considered for this role. This will be a hybrid working pattern with 2/3 days per week required in the office. Multiple choices of office locations including London, the north west and the north east.
