Attensi is a Norwegian tech company specialized in gamified simulation training. Since our inception in 2012, Attensi has grown to become a global leader in the field, with training solutions used by global brands in more than 140 countries and 30 different languages.

We use gamification, realistic interactive scenarios, and decision‑driven dialogues, powered by our game AI, to create a ‘learning by doing’ training environment that encourages repetition and builds mastery. It is a radically new method to achieve high impact training that scales across large organisations.

We work with some of the largest pharmaceutical, healthcare, retail, hospitality and professional services brands in the world including Boehringer Ingelheim, Novartis, Circle K, PwC, Accenture, KPMG and Zurich. Attensi’s team now consists of more than 200+ Game Changers across our offices in London, Oslo and Boston. With 70 Game Changers based in London, Attensi is growing at rocket speed and with our additional funding we are now taking our commercial team to new heights.

To support and expand on our international growth, we are currently seeking an energetic and motivated Business Development Director to focus on building our Pharmaceutical sector. This is a key role in our growth and is reflected in both the remuneration and opportunities for growth outlined below.

We are looking for someone smart, analytical, commercial, and curious who is comfortable taking an insight‑driven approach to generating leads, converting them to meetings and communicating Attensi’s unique value proposition to land and develop new client relationships. Attensi’s products delight existing and prospective customers easily and when we have conversations with the right prospects, we have enviably high closing rates.

Our sales processes are moved forward through close collaboration with the customer so that we create value propositions and solutions that address their specific needs and pain points. For a person who enjoys the art of business development through consultative selling and collaboration with large corporations, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing company, backed by strong investors and with solutions that make a real, measurable impact.

We are particularly excited by people who have sold into Pharmaceutical Companies (bonus points if you have covered medical devices too), who can empathize with our prospects’ learning goals and who can credibly and comfortably craft bespoke and tailored solutions to meet their needs. Since 2021, the company has been focused on growth both in the number of new customers it works with, and international expansion.

Success in this role will depend on the ability to identify the right prospective clients, initiate conversations and conduct meetings with CxOs and director‑level prospects. The role will be based in London and focus on the UK and European markets, but international work will likely form part of the job as we pursue world domination.

You Will Have:
  • BSc degree or higher
  • Client facing Pharmaceutical/medical devices sales background and/or experience in strategic roles within those organisations e.g. Product Manager
  • Experience building strong and trusting relationships with prospects and clients alike to become a trusted partner at both a professional and personal level
  • At least 5+ years' work experience
  • Experience in establishing relationships with CxOs and Directors of large corporations
  • Previous experience with business development and enterprise sales is ideal, but we believe that this can also be developed, provided the right motivation and skillset
What will you do?
  • Identifying ideal customers, and actively pursuing conversations and meetings with key decision makers in those companies, leveraging our proven playbook the ‘Attensi way of Selling’
  • Prospecting, generating leads and increasing awareness and knowledge about Attensi in the professional services space through attending industry events and exhibitions, hosting webinars etc.
  • Mapping and specifying organisational challenges, training and development needs together with prospective customers
  • Working closely with our Customer Success team who provide operational support for our customers as well as work with them to explore upsell opportunities
  • Work closely with the broader Attensi commercial team and overall organisation to develop best practices and grow the organisation
What do we offer?

At Attensi you will become part of an exciting and rapidly growing scale‑up that is already a global leader in its field. You get to work in an exciting environment surrounded by committed, smart and talented colleagues from a variety of backgrounds, both culturally and academically.

You will play a central role in our largest and fastest growing team and will have very good opportunities for further development and growth in both the role and the company.

Attensi has an energetic and social working environment. And with that, we have the appreciation and understanding behind operating in a hybrid model, where we are in‑person thrice weekly in our London offices near Southwark - or out meeting our clients in person, which we believe is the best way to create meaningful relationships. We work hard but also have a lot of fun. Monthly social activities like Attensi‑days, sporting events, after‑work drinks, get‑togethers, game nights and company trips to our Norwegian HQ or elsewhere, are some of the ways in which we ensure we not only work together, but also play together!
