Attenborough Surgery is a training Practice with GP registrars & Medical students, as well as in house teaching and a team of Salaried GPs, First Contact Physiotherapist, Clinical Pharmacists, Social Prescriber and dietitian as well as an award-winning team of Mental Health Workers. We are a large Practice of 30K+ patients, use EMIS. We have 4 local sites. Easy access from Hertfordshire or North London—5 minutes from Junction 5 of the M1. Parking is available on all sites, with a dedicated space when working at Bushey in our underground carpark.
We are seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join our team at the surgery. Working 3 days a week—Monday, Wednesday & Friday—across our sites, due to room space days are non‑negotiable. We are seeking a positive can‑do attitude together with good team working.
Main duties of the job
Working under the direct supervision of the senior practice nurse and strictly in accordance with specific practice guidelines and protocols, the healthcare assistant will assist the practice clinical team in the provision and delivery of prescribed programmes of patient care.
