With a mission of Art For All, Attenborough Arts Centre champions artists, communities and participation through contemporary visual arts, performance, learning and engagement programmes. As the Centre enters an exciting new chapter, guided by an ambitious Business Plan to 2030, it is focused on growing its national profile, strengthening its impact and building a financially sustainable future.
As Attenborough Arts Centre approaches its 30th anniversary in 2027, this is a unique opportunity to contribute to the next stage of its journey. We are particularly interested in hearing from people with expertise or experience in:
- Artistic programming
- Museums and galleries leadership
- Co-design with communities
- Placemaking
- Business innovation
- Venue operations
- Large-scale capital project delivery
You do not need previous Board experience. We value professional expertise alongside lived experience and are committed to broadening representation across our Advisory Board so it better reflects the communities we serve. We are especially keen to hear from disabled people, who remain underrepresented within the cultural sector.
