Are you an experienced Electrician with a strong understanding of NICEIC compliance and electrical certification? Would you describe yourself as a proactive, detail-focused professional who takes pride in delivering safe, compliant, and high-quality electrical installations?

We are currently recruiting for a Qualified Supervisor (QS) Electrician to join a growing renewable energy business delivering Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Charging and electrical installation projects across South Wales and the M4 Corridor. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically qualified professional to take ownership of compliance standards, support NICEIC accreditation requirements, and provide technical oversight across a range of renewable and electrical projects. The role will involve travel to sites across the region, with journeys of up to two hours where required.

In return, we offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000, ongoing training and development opportunities, company pension, holiday entitlement, and the opportunity to play a key role within a rapidly expanding renewable energy business.

Duties for this role will include:

  • Acting as the company's NICEIC Qualified Supervisor and ensuring ongoing audit compliance
  • Carrying out electrical inspections, testing, certification and quality assurance checks
  • Ensuring all installations comply with current BS7671 Wiring Regulations and industry standards
  • Reviewing and signing off Electrical Installation Certificates (EICs), Minor Works Certificates and associated documentation
  • Supporting installation teams working on Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Charging and electrical projects
  • Conducting site audits and technical assessments to maintain quality and compliance standards
  • Providing technical guidance and mentoring to electricians and installation teams
  • Assisting with NICEIC assessments and ensuring all compliance documentation is maintained
  • Ensuring all health & safety procedures, risk assessments and company policies are adhered to
  • Acting as a technical point of contact for installation teams and customers where required

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
  • AM2 Qualification
  • BS th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Inspection & Testing qualification (2391, 2394 and/or 2395)
  • Previous experience in a Qualified Supervisor, Senior Electrician or Compliance-focused electrical role
  • Strong knowledge of NICEIC requirements and electrical certification processes
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Solar PV Qualification
  • City & Guilds 2399 BPEC Qualification
  • Previous experience within Solar PV, Battery Storage or EV Charging sectors
  • Knowledge of MCS standards and renewable energy compliance requirements
