Full Time, Permanent Night Shift - 4 On 4 Off Shift Pattern 12 hour shifts

The main purpose of this role is to support the Lead Engineer who operates a tanker, visiting various client sites, including industrial estates, retail parks, shopping centres, and office buildings to conduct drainage works for both planned maintenance and emergency response.
In return, we are offering a starting per hour rate of £12.71. Furthermore, there is tremendous potential to earn £5,000+ OTE through overtime, along with an attractive benefits package. This is a full-time, permanent role.
The shift pattern will be Week 1 Monday – Thursday Working, Friday – Monday Off, Week 2 Tuesday – Friday working, Saturday – Tuesday off. Flexibility is key to success in this role, as you will need to accommodate nights and early morning starts (e.g., 6pm, 8pm, 10pm, 2am) and occasional overnight stays away from home. We take care of your accommodation expenses during these trips and provide you with a budget for meals as well as a stay away bonus.
Key duties:
- Supporting the Lead HGV tanker Engineer to carry out pre-planned maintenance works.
- Maintaining the vehicle and equipment to the best condition.
- Supporting the Lead Engineer to vacuum tanker operations and wastewater management.
- Adhering to all health and safety policies at all times, following safety protocols for HGV drainage tanker operation.
- Ensuring all information is fed back correctly to the office.
- Supporting the CCTV & Drainage teams supporting and facilitating Surveys, inspections and detailed investigation works.
The ideal candidate:
- Willingness to learn in the Drainage industry.
- Manual UK driving license.
- Problem solving and attention to detail is a must.
- Willingness to work nights.
