Β£38,000 – Β£45,000 South England - UK travel required with occasional European travel for manufacturer training and support.

About the Company

Our client is expanding its specialist Air Division and is seeking a Cleanroom & Validation Engineer to support the installation, commissioning, servicing and validation of contamination control and clean air systems across pharmaceutical, healthcare and laboratory environments. This is an excellent opportunity to join the business during a significant growth phase and become a key technical figure within the division.

The Role

The successful candidate will support a range of engineering and validation activities involving isolators, airflow systems, safety cabinets and associated clean air technologies. Responsibilities will include:

  • Installation and commissioning of clean air and containment systems
  • Validation activities including IQ, OQ and PQ protocols
  • HEPA testing, airflow visualisation and pressure verification
  • Service, maintenance and fault diagnosis
  • Supporting customer training and technical support
  • Producing validation and compliance documentation
  • Assisting with the development and growth of the division

Requirements

  • Experience working within cleanroom, HVAC, isolator, containment or safety cabinet environments
  • Understanding of GMP and Annex 1 requirements
  • Mechanical and electrical engineering skills
  • Experience with validation and commissioning processes
  • Knowledge of BS EN 12469 testing desirable
  • PLC knowledge advantageous
  • Full UK driving licence

Full manufacturer training will be provided, including specialist training in Europe with Ortner. This role offers genuine long-term progression opportunities into senior engineering and technical leadership positions as the division grows.
