An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Field Service & Commissioning Engineer to join a growing Water Division specialising in reverse osmosis (RO) and high-purity water systems. This role offers the opportunity to become a key part of a developing technical team, supporting installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance activities across industrial, pharmaceutical and healthcare environments. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the growth of the division while delivering high levels of technical service and customer support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service & Maintenance
    • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive service work on:
    • Reverse osmosis systems
    • Water purification equipment
    • Filtration and dosing systems
    • Pumps, valves and associated controls
  • Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical and process faults
  • Optimise system performance and reliability
  • Installation & Commissioning
    • Support installation and commissioning of RO and water treatment systems
    • Configure control systems and system parameters
    • Assist with upgrades, modifications and retrofit projects
  • Technical Support
    • Provide on-site troubleshooting and customer support
    • Respond to breakdowns and critical system issues
    • Deliver operator and maintenance training where required
  • Compliance & Documentation
    • Complete service reports, maintenance logs and site documentation
    • Carry out work in line with Health & Safety standards and site procedures
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements

Skills & Experience Required

  • Essential
    • Experience working on industrial water treatment or RO systems
    • Mechanical and electrical engineering experience
    • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability
    • Experience with:
    • Pumps
    • Dosing systems
    • Filtration systems
    • Pipework and control systems
    • Basic PLC knowledge
    • Ability to read electrical schematics and P&ID drawings
    • Full UK Driving Licence
