Attega Group is currently partnering exclusively with our client in recruiting a Reactive Pump Engineer to join the team. The main purpose of this role is to support the Reactive Engineering Team. In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £38,000 P/A, depending on experience, plus overtime, on call bonuses, as well as training to further your career development. This is a full time permanent position.
Reporting to the management, your responsibilities will include:
- Mend or make safe faulty or incorrectly performing pump and related equipment
- Investigate and diagnose faults
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide customised solutions
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all field operations
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding pump operation and maintenance
- Deliver exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with clients
- Work independently or as part of a team to complete assigned projects efficiently and within deadlines
- Keep accurate records of work performed, including maintenance schedules, repairs, and parts used
- Stay updated on the latest pump technologies and industry trends to enhance knowledge and skills
The ideal candidate:
- Previous experience working as a Pump Engineer minimum 3 years
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve pump-related issues
- Knowledge of on-site treatment plants and pump stations (both foul and clean water)
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a field-based setting
- IT literate and able to provide accurate job updates on our PDA system
- Flexibility to work varied hours and respond to emergency callouts when required
- Valid UK Driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites
