Location: Oldham Office, but will cover Manchester, Liverpool, and the Leeds area
Full time, permanent position. Hours: Monday – Friday, 37 hour working week.
Responsibilities
- Co‑ordinate and project manage high‑value repair & refurbishment orders.
- Agree work programmes to suit customer demand and resource availability.
- Issue service orders, which will include time allowances, customer and site details, equipment schedules, method statements and risk assessments as appropriate.
- Issue internal and external purchase orders and improve the forecast project margin by negotiating prices wherever possible.
- Purchase orders above an agreed value (currently £10k) are to be reviewed with and signed by the Service Director.
- Monitor programme and margin performance to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Liaise and co‑ordinate with Manufacturing Department and Suppliers to ensure goods and materials are supplied, as required.
- Attend monthly review meeting with Lead Senior Project Manager to provide update on all projects and overview of all project margin activities and any project and/or G&R issues.
- Act as a link between the Service and Finance Department to ensure invoices are sent out correctly and on time.
- Review and check information on RAMS to ensure they are accurate, compliant and suitable for the work being carried out.
- Ensure site‑specific RAMS are produced and issued to customers well in advance of our attendance.
Ideal Candidate
- A proven track record in project engineering/management.
- Experience gained within a similar supervisory role.
- Awareness of H&S Legislation and its implications on the service industry.
- Knowledge of contractual issues relating to project work.
- Experience working to quality assurance procedures.
- Similar duties within an HVAC or similar industry/company.
