Accounts Payable in Pontefract

Accounts Payable  £17.00 - £17.43ph  Pontefract Full time | Temporary to Permanent | 37.5 hours  Do you already have accounts payable experience? Are you immediately available to start a new role?  Attega Group is working on behalf of our client as their recruitment provider. We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable to join their team. The main purpose of this Accounts Payable role is to take ownership for the processing of supplier invoices and the maintenance of supplier accounts.  In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £17.43 per hour, depending on experience. This role is full-time and temporary to permanent. The hours of work will be 37.5 per week Monday to Friday.  Reporting to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include: Processing invoices, matching supplier invoices to purchase orders, and identifying discrepancies.  Producing weekly aged supplier reports, submitting payment requests, and monitoring outstanding payment requests.  Reconciling supplier statements and accounts monthly, investigating differences between supplier statements and company's purchase ledger,  Supporting with month-end, preparing accrual calculations for goods and services, Offering general finance support.  The ideal candidate: Must have previous accounts payable or purchase ledger experience  Will need to be available to start a new role immediately and commit to a temporary to permanent contract  Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy abilities  Will need to be familiar with Sage, or similar, and have strong Microsoft Excel skills.  For more information on our Accounts Payable role, please contact Abby in the Attega Group offices today
