Full Time, 4 On 4 Off Night Shift & Early Morning Hour Shift Pattern
Are you an experienced HGV Drainage Engineer? Are you looking to join an industry leading expert? Attega Group is currently partnering exclusively with our client in recruiting a HGV Drainage Engineer to join the team. The main purpose of this role is to operate a tanker, visiting various client sites, including industrial estates, retail parks, shopping centres, and office buildings to conduct drainage works for both planned maintenance and emergency response.
In return, our client offers a basic salary up to £42,770 per annum, based on your experience. Furthermore, there is tremendous potential to earn £50,000 - £60,000 through overtime, along with an attractive benefits package. This is a full-time, permanent role. The shift pattern will be Week 1 Monday – Thursday Working, Friday – Monday Off, Week 2 Tuesday – Friday working, Saturday – Tuesday off. Flexibility is key to success in this role, as you will need to accommodate nights and early morning starts (e.g., 6pm, 8pm, 10pm, 2am) and occasional overnight stays away from home. We take care of your accommodation expenses during these trips and provide you with a budget for meals as well as a stay away bonus.
Key duties:
- Operating a HGV tanker to carry out pre-planned maintenance works.
- Maintaining the vehicle and equipment to the best condition.
- Vacuum tanker operations and wastewater management.
- Adhering to all health and safety policies at all times, following safety protocols for HGV drainage tanker operation.
- Working with an assistant, ensuring all information is fed back correctly to the office.
- Supporting the CCTV & Drainage teams supporting and facilitating Surveys, inspections and detailed investigation works.
The ideal candidate:
- At least a year's experience in the drainage industry.
- Class 2 license minimum.
- Problem solving and attention to detail is a must.
