Build Manager £60,000 - £65,000 P/A Coventry Full time | Permanent | 40 hours per week

Do you have experience working in the architecture, infrastructure, steelworks, temporary structure, commercial construction, high end carpentry or joinery projects, exhibitions, or events industries? Are you familiar with managing complex and end-to-end build projects?

Attega Group is currently partnering exclusively with our client in recruiting a Build Manager to join the team. The main purpose of this role is to take full responsibility for all the live build jobs, producing seamless results for high-profile clients.

In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £65,000 P/A, depending on experience, plus 25 days holiday + bank holidays, health cash plan, pension contributions, plus more! This role is full-time and permanent. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday.

Reporting to the MD, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing fit out of structures to specification, working closely with the production team, balancing the build of upcoming projects, ongoing live projects, and any approaching future projects.
  • Taking overall responsibility for management of the warehouse, stock and materials management, H&S, and quality assurance.
  • Ensuring builds comply with industry standards & legal regulations.
  • Managing product stock levels and flagging issues with order requirements.
  • Coordinating with external suppliers to plan for the full year calendar of proposed projects.
  • Balancing installs with ongoing build work and managing allocation of resources.
  • Overseeing the build of specific large, live projects, guaranteeing execution from start to finish.
  • Cost control and budget management responsibilities.

The ideal candidate:

  • Must have previous experience working in a Build Manager/Head of Builds role, from an architecture, infrastructure, steelworks, temporary structure, Commercial/Construction, or events background.
  • Will need to have some understanding of temporary build projects and be an effective on-site leader.
  • Must have a flexible approach to work and be a fantastic communicator, prepared to go above and beyond for customer satisfaction.
