We are recruiting a Welder/Machine Operator to join the team. The Welder should have a good understanding of TIG welding up to 2mm.
In return, we are offering a competitive salary, depending on experience, plus 25 days holiday + bank holidays, and a 13:00 finish on a Friday with a Christmas shut down.
This is a full-time, permanent role. The hours of work will be Monday β Thursday 08:00 β 16:30, Friday 08:00 β 13:00.
Reporting to the Shop Floor Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Understanding the functions of the Amada CNC Brake Presses and Vipros Punch Machine.
- Having an understanding of manufacturing TIG welded parts and experience welding up to 2mm.
The ideal candidate:
- Ability to read and interpret drawings (3rd angle drawings).
- Experience in setting and operating CNC Brake Presses.
- Experience of using Production Machines and setting.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures.
