Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter with a background in small plant equipment and diesel-powered machinery. The role involves a mix of site-based servicing and repairs, equipment setup, and workshop-based work.

Key Requirements

  • Experience working with small plant equipment
  • Knowledge of diesel-powered equipment
  • NVQ Level 2-3 in Engineering or equivalent
  • Ability to carry out site servicing, repairs, and equipment setup, including delivery and collection of machinery
  • Workshop/shop-based maintenance experience

Skills & Attributes

  • Basic understanding of hydraulic systems (or willingness to learn and develop new skills)
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate maintenance and service records
  • Able to work independently using own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence required

CSCS card is preferable, however training can be provided.
