Are you happy to stay away? Are you interested in building a career in the Drainage Industry? Attega Group is working on behalf of our client as their in-house recruitment provider. We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Drainage Surveyor to join their team.

The main purpose of this Trainee Drainage Surveyor role is to work alongside the Lead Drainage Surveyor, assisting with various surveys across different client sites. In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £29,741 P/A, depending on experience. This role is full-time and permanent. The hours of work will be 5am - 2pm.

Reporting to the PPM Mobilisation Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Attend sites nationwide to assess site and asset access, inspect external below-ground, internal/soil and high-level roof/gutter drainage systems, and record the condition and number of assets within the site demise.
  • Support the Lead Surveyor in collating information to produce a conditional job report detailing the teams, equipment and methods required to complete the tasks.
  • Train in the creation of detailed PPM drainage connectivity plans.
  • Produce external and internal drainage plans by hand and digitally on mapping software.
  • Assist with lifting and identifying site assets using testing methods such as drainage dye and CCTV equipment.
  • Include remedial/recommendation forms to highlight defects, access issues and other health and safety findings.

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Happy to do stay aways every 2 weeks

  • Drainage/plumbing knowledge
  • Plumbing Experience - Not required but an advantage
  • CSCS Card
  • CCTV Surveying - Not required but an advantage
