Are you a multi-skilled Commercial Gas Engineer looking for a role that rewards your technical expertise across both Gas and HVAC? Attega Group is proud to partner with our client in recruiting a high-caliber Commercial Gas Engineer to join their growing team. Following a recent resignation, we are looking for a replacement who isn’t just a "ticket holder" but a competent, hands-on engineer capable of managing commercial plant rooms and complex heating systems.
The Role
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for providing high-level Service, Maintenance, and Repair cover across a diverse portfolio of commercial contracts, including airports, care homes, offices, and retail hubs.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Providing PPM and reactive maintenance on Commercial & Domestic Gas systems.
- Fault-finding and repair of commercial boilers and large-scale heating plant.
- Supporting HVAC requirements (AHUs, Air Con, etc.) and general plumbing works where required.
- Maintaining high compliance standards and completing digital paperwork via tablet.

- Base Salary: £46,000 (with flexibility for the right HVAC/Commercial background).
- Travel: Door-to-Door pay (paid before 8am and after 5pm).

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a "Gas-First" engineer with a strong multi-skilled mindset. You will be:
- A fully qualified Commercial Gas Engineer with a HVAC background.
- ACS Tickets: Current Commercial (COCN1/CODNCO1, CIGA1, CDGA1, TPCP1/1A) and Domestic (CCN1, CENWAT).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in a commercial field-based role.
- HVAC: Proficiency in HVAC/Air Con is highly desirable.
- License: Full UK Driving License (No UK driving license disqualifies).
