Are you proficient in diagnosing, servicing and repairing? Do you have a strong mechanical aptitude? Are you familiar with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic or electrical systems?
Attega Group is currently partnering exclusively with our client in recruiting a Field Service Engineer to join the team. The main purpose of this role is to provide expert repair & maintenance services of various pieces of machinery.
In return, our client is offering a salary of £30,000 - £40,000 P/A, depending on experience, plus Bupa private medical insurance, cashback healthcare plan, life assurance, increasing holiday entitlement with length of service, and more! This role is full-time and permanent. The hours of work will be 47.5 per week, including 1 in 3 Saturdays and 1 in 12 Sundays.
Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing diverse pieces of machinery, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction
- Providing support to customers and attending follow up calls
- Completing scheduled planned maintenance jobs
- Completing scheduled PA Tests
- Ordering parts required to complete breakdown calls
The ideal candidate:
- Must have proficient IT skills and the ability to operate tablet devices
- Will need a proven track record in diagnosing, servicing and repairing machinery
- Must have the ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics and diagrams to effectively troubleshoot
- Needs strong communication and problem solving skills
- Will be able to demonstrate experience in a field service role, preferably from an industrial or manufacturing background would be ideal
- Must be able to perform manual handling duties, such as lifting heavy industrial kit
- A full manual driving license is essential
- A Bachelors degree or equivalent certificate in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or related-field would be preferred
