Are you working as a HR Administrator? Are you looking for a new challenge? Attega Group is working on behalf of our client as their in-house recruitment provider. We are currently recruiting for a HR Administrator to join their team.

The main purpose of this role is to provide day-to-day admin support to the HR team, as well as maintain accurate and confidential employee records. In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £30,000 P/A, depending on experience. This role is full-time and permanent. The hours of work will be 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR team.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and update HR systems.
  • Prepare standard HR correspondence, including offer letters, contracts, and employee documentation.
  • Support recruitment activities, including posting vacancies, arranging interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Assist with new starter onboarding, induction arrangements, and required documentation.
  • Process employee changes, including changes to personal details, working hours, and employment information.
  • Maintain holiday, sickness, absence, and other employee records.
  • Support leaver administration and ensure relevant documentation is completed.
  • Respond to routine HR queries from employees and managers and escalate more complex matters when required.

The ideal candidate:

  • Previous experience in HR administration, general administration, recruitment, or a similar support role.
  • Good administrative and organisational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Approximately 6–12 months' experience in an HR, recruitment, administrative, or office support environment.
  • Basic understanding of HR processes and the employee lifecycle.
  • CIPD qualification or willingness to work towards a relevant HR qualification would be an advantage but is not essential.
