Attega Group is currently partnering exclusively with our client in recruiting Customer Service Claims Handlers to join the team.
The main purpose of this role is to be the go-to person for customers, liaising with claimants, clients and third parties and assessing customers' needs and requests before ensuring the best course of action.
In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £28,000 P/A, depending on experience, plus up to 28 days holiday + bank holidays (rises with length of service), additional day off for your birthday, onsite gym, fitness classes and wellbeing support, plus more!
This role is full time and permanent. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm.
Reporting to the Director of Operations, your responsibilities will include:
- Listening to customers' needs and advising on the steps for the best outcome,
- Assessing customers claims and being the main point of contact while negotiating settlements,
- Gathering customers information and any required evidence to ensure a fair decision is made,
- Maintaining case records and the in-house customer database,
- Offering excellent customer services and building rapport with each conversation you have.
The ideal candidate:
- Must have previous office-based, customer services experience, ideally from a B2C (Business to Consumer), insurance, telecoms or financial services environment,
- Will be a proactive person and have fantastic written and verbal communication skills,
- Must be a team player, a starter-finisher with natural problem-solving abilities,
- Will be looking for a full time, permanent role, working as part of a team in an office-based environment and be someone who is seeking future career progression.
