Are you a servicing and maintenance Fire & Security Engineer? Are you strong on Addressable panels and have access control experience?
Attega Group is currently partnering exclusively with our client in recruiting a Fire & Security Engineer to join the team. The main purpose of this role is to service, and maintain CCTV, fire, intruder, and access control systems across commercial premises. In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £47,500 + enhanced overtime, depending on experience, plus vehicle, fuel card, pension, work events, annual leave and progressive opportunities. This is a full-time, permanent role. The hours of work will be 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Reporting to the Hiring Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Service, and maintain CCTV, fire, intruder, and access control systems across commercial premises, some small install.
- Commission and test new systems, ensuring compliance with current standards.
- Diagnose and repair faults quickly and effectively.
- Carry out occasional general maintenance tasks, as agreed and within your skillset.
- Carry out occasional supporting activities for our electrical team and departments.
- Carry out occasional works beyond the South upon confirmation of engineer's availability.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
- Participate in the on-call rota (with additional payment).
The ideal Fire & Security Engineer:
- Proven experience working with CCTV, fire alarms, intruder alarms, and access control.
- Familiarity with leading manufacturers (e.g. Hikvision, Paxton, Texecom, Kentec, Apollo).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong technical and fault-finding skills.
- Requirements for Fire Detection and Alarm Systems for Buildings BS 5839.
