Astute's Renewable's Team is partnering with a renewable energy provider with a commitment to professional development and sustainability, to recruit a Service Engineer to cover their Commercial Solar assets in the London area, inside the M25. The strategically important Service Engineer role comes with a salary of up to £45,000, pension, a company vehicle and various other equipment that is relevant to the position. Responsibilities and duties of the Service Engineer role
- Reporting to the O&M Manager you will:
- Perform roof top inspections and complete minor electrical and mechanical repairs
- Perform general O&M testing, and implement the repair work on the Solar System
- Replace damaged or faulty invertors
- Occasionally be called on to assist with installation and cleaning tasks
Professional qualifications
- We are looking for someone with the following:
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Experience with working on rooftop solar is desirable
- A full Driving License
- Experience with Operations and Maintenance tasks is desirable
