The Client:

Our client, a leading renewable energy company focused on pioneering clean energy solutions, is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their team for the exciting development of a 50MW solar farm project. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to an ambitious renewable energy initiative, ensuring the successful execution of the project while managing costs and risks effectively.

The Role of Senior Project Manager:

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of a c.50MW solar farm project near Bristol, UK. This role requires strong project management skills, technical expertise in solar energy, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to ensure the successful completion of the project on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Execution:
    Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets. Ensure all project milestones and deliverables are met.
  2. Team Leadership:
    Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  3. Stakeholder Management:
    Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including project sponsors, regulatory bodies, and internal teams. Provide regular project updates and address any issues or concerns.

  5. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  6. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  7. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  8. PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
