Senior Offshore Installation Manager for a major offshore wind developer based in England.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, recommend, and optimize offshore installation, logistics concepts, and procedures before and during installation.
- Possess knowledge and experience of Landfall.
- Collaborate with Package and Contract managers to tender, negotiate, and recommend installation contracts including MWS.
- Manage offshore installation contractors and MWS, ensuring cross-discipline cooperation within the project team.
- Review and ensure contractor’s delivery of method statements and risk assessments.
- Establish and implement HAZID/HAZOP procedures for installation design and offshore operations.
- Provide progress reports to Project Manager on all managed contracts, highlighting technical risks and developing contingency plans.
- Supervise trialing, tool development, loading, and vessel setup.
- Oversee the initiation of offshore installation campaigns.
- Manage Client's Representatives and QA Daily Progress Reports.
- Create, monitor, and control the execution of Design Quality reports and Quality Assurance System (QAS), aligning with supplier quality inputs.
- Manage product Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
- Review method statements from suppliers.
- Review product and as-built documentation during the Acceptance Phase (AP) execution.
Requirements:
- Experienced Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) Consultant, preferably with renewable energy project experience.
- Knowledge of array cable installation.
